I am an energetic artist who enjoys creating pet & people portraits through photography, rendering, and painting to capture the beauty and personality of my subjects.

It all starts with capturing the personality and beauty of your pet!

All photo sessions are at a location of your choice, home or park.
I shoot a series of images, and then you can review and pick an image from which to create the final portrait. Each portrait will go through our post-production process for color correction and retouching. I will email you proof for final approval. After approval, you will receive a high-resolution digital file for printing and a smaller file for email or online use.

Early on

My background as a commercial photographer, photographic editor, and photographic illustrator means that I have always enjoyed blending my love of drawing, painting, and photography to create images that show my subjects’ beauty, personality, and story in various styles.

Current

I am currently creating photographic portraits of pets and people on location. I am taking reservations for full sessions at a location of your choice, creating a picture in a natural setting. I find this works best for two reasons: working with your pet in a familiar environment often keeps your pet calm and relaxed and makes for a controlled, beautiful, natural setting. You can join me at our local markets and festivals, where I bring my one-ring circus studio for a mini photo session of your best friend or you and your friend together. You can review and pick an image from which to create your final portrait. Our custom lab produces the highest quality photographic prints, which you can order on various substrates of any size you prefer. These images can be the basis for my renderings and paintings, creating a cherished piece of artwork. I also create artwork from your favorite image of your best friend to create a cherished piece of art to display in your home.
